Today, Monday 12.12.16, two first stealth F35i will land in Israel and during next year total of 75 planes ( 3 squadrons of- 25 ) They will upgrade Israel Air Force and put it as one of the strongest in the world.
F35 Squadron, Golden Eagle Squadron- 140, is reopened in Nevatim airbase.

היום יום שני ה- 12.12.16 ינחתו זוג מטוסי האדיר- f35i ובמהלך שנת- 2017 ינחתו כ- 75 מטוסים נוספים ( 3 טייסות של- 25 מטוסים כל אחת ) ובכך ישדרג את זרועה הארוכה של חיל האוויר הישראלי ויציב אותו כאחד מחילות האוויר המתקדמים והחזקים בעולם והכי איכותי במזרח התיכון.
הטייסת הוקמה מחדש בבסיס נבטים והותאמה לקליטת מטוסי החמקן המתקדמים מסוג האדיר- f35i בשנת- 2014 ובין שנת- 2014 ועד לקליטת המטוסים היום הופעלו בבסיס נבטים טייסות תובלה בלבד.
