The Center for Consciousness Operations ( NCOs ) is a psychological warfare unit subordinate to the operational operations division of the IDF's Intelligence Directorate.
At first, the unit was subordinate to the Operations Directorate, but during- 2006 it was transferred to the Intelligence Directorate. Most of the unit's activities are unknown, but some of them have been made public: distributing leaflets, taking over television broadcasts from the Palestinian Authority and Arab states and disrupting them, setting up fictitious websites and more.
