The “Rising Star” is Israeli & Italian Navy combined training exercise.
IAF “Atalef” (Panther) helicopters and “Barak” (F-16C/D) fighter jets also participated in the exercise.
The Israeli ‘Atalef’ helicopter evacuated injured personnel from an Italian naval vessel, and an Italian aircraft evacuated injured personnel from an Israeli naval vessel. The “Barak” fighters simulated missile fire on the vessels, and the fleets responded with naval maneuvers.
