A service established in the General Staff-Agam ( General Staff of the Operations Division ) of the Haganah in April -1948, headed by Pinchas Optikman-Yoeli.
The core of this service was the photo laboratory of the technical bureau from- 1939, which operated within the bureau of high school and organization, and in the Agam ( Operations division ) since its establishment ( then called the "Technical Squad" ). In late- 1948, it was added to the intelligence corps.
