The use of the old style crown indicates they were used during the Franco era, i.e. pre-1977 and they have been obsolete for almost 30 years. Thermal embossed on Legion light green cloth, the standard uniform colors. The gold parachute qualification insignia were unofficial, but reportedly used to denote 100+ jumps.
