Scotland - Argyllshire Constabulary Mountain Rescue patch

Price: 8 - 15 $

Argyll County police (a.k.a. Argyllshire Constabulary) ceased to exist on 16th May 1975 when the Force's area was split between the new forces of:
Northern Constabulary (for North Argyll - Glencoe) and
Strathclyde Police (for the rmainder of Argyllshire including its islands).
The consitituent forces of Northern Constabulary never had a police mountain rescue team and this policy contininued after merger. The new force however continued to fully support the many civilian mountain rescue teams throughout the Highlands & Islands.
Strathclyde Police however continues to have a Police MRT.
