Headdress badge of the 16th London Regiment (Queen's Westminster and Civil Service Rifles), being a blackened metal Maltese cross surmounted by a King's crown, with battle honours in the arms of the cross, (top) SOUTH AFRICA 1900-02 above HOOG 1915; (right) MESSINES 1917 above YPRES 1917 ' 18 above CAMBRAI 1917; (bottom) FRANCE AND FLANDERS 1914-18 above JERUSALEM above JERICHO; (left) SOMME 1916 ' 18 above FLERS-COURCELETTE above ARRAS 1917 ' 18. In the centre of the cross two overlapping ovals, the left bearing the portcullis and ducal coronet of the Queen's Westminsters and the right with the Prince of Wales's plume from the Civil Service Rifles.

Badge of the pattern worn from circa 1922 to 1960. The 15th and 16th Battalions were amalgamated in 1922.
