1st, 2nd and 3rd Air Delivery Groups personnel inherited this design from 25th Airborne Division in late 1950s, which was by then long dissolved, and wore it on their sleeves until 1981. This is the type 1, the original design. In 1970 it was changed a bit (especially a shape of the canopy and the arrow).
