The 42nd Panzer Brigade (German: Panzerbrigade 42, PzBrig 42) was a German armoured formation, part of the 13th Mechanized Infantry Division of the Bundeswehr. The brigade was disbanded in 2003, so this insignia is now obsolete. It is a thick padded embroidered insignia with a silver mylar.
