Dear collectors of military insignia,
The insignia of the battalions of territorial defense is of paramount interest to researchers of modern Ukrainian military insignia. This book is designed to provide the most accurate information about the shoulder sleeve insignia (SSI), breast badges, and flags of the battalions from 2014 when these units were created and until 2017, when the active phase of the change in the Ukrainian military uniform began. Of no less interest for researchers is the process of transformation of the SSI of the battalions of the territorial defense into that of the motorized infantry battalions.
