89th Transport wing It is a wing of the US Air Force that provides international air flights, logistics and communications infrastructure to the President of the United States, to the Vice President, to the commanders of the Joint Combatant Commands, to senior leaders and to intercontinental transport missions assigned by the White House and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force. The mother base of the 89th Transport Wing is at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland near Washington.
