GERMANY Bundeswehr - Airborne / Air Transport School training units.

Most training facilities in the army ( troop schools and centers ) had their own shoulder patches. Assigned training units, such as training battalions and regiments, often had shoulder patches based on “their” military school. In these cases, the training units did not wear the shoulder patch of their actual superior unit, but rather unique shoulder patches withe the letter L instead of S. This system was later abandoned and these shoulder patches were all phased out, so that today the training units wear the usual shoulder patch of their school.
