The Curling Club was founded in 1974 and curiously enough has nothing to do with the sport of Curling. It is a voluntary organization that helps to raise funds for charities. Curling Club donations are supported through such activities as Pizza Nights, 50/50 Draws, Ball and Chain event and a Mount Bental Walk. Significant funds have been raised over the years by and from soldiers. The Curling Club then makes cash donations, of equal amounts, to one charity in Syria and one in Israel.
