MACV-SOG Command and Control Central (CCC) Bomb Burst patch

The much sought after symbol of special operations in Vietnam being the skull with jagged blood dripping teeth and green beret with flash at center within a four color shell or bomb burst design.
The Bomb Burst design first appeared sometime in 1967 and was soon adopted (unofficially) through-out the MAC V SOG Program. The insignia was modified over the years with different ribbons, explosion shapes and skull patterns. The most commonly found are the Standard Bomb Burst that are fully machine embroidered, have a red and yellow explosion style border with a black ribbon across the base that reads: CCC.
