Commando 13 (13 DBLE) insigne. Commando 13 Badge.
Created in December 1949 at Hoc Mon in Cochichine and was commanded by an officer of the 13 DBLE. The commando was based at Trang Bang and came under the operational control of the headquarters company of the 1/13DBLE. The Commando conducted its first operation at An Nhon Tay on the 17th January 1950. When the 1/1DBLE left Hoc Mon in late December 1951 the Commando ceased to exist, the indigenous cadre then formed Commando 713.
The badge was created in 1950 by Lieutenant Brisson chef du Commando. Locally made in Indochina from painted Chrome or painted metal.
