5th Large Carrier Transport company of the 2 REI badge. The company took the name 5 CTGP on the 5th May 1965. It was operational conducting missions to evacuate the Sahara. Two platonns were based at Reggan and one platoon at Colomb-Bechar. The company was dissolved on the 1st July 1967. The badge was created for Camerone 1966 by Captain Oui. Only 25 examples were issued and the badge was made in silver gilt and numbered with Camerone 1966 on the rear. Made by LR.Paris.
