1st, 2nd and 3rd Air Delivery Groups personnel inherited this design from- 25th Airborne Division in late- 1950s, which was by then long dissolved, and wore it on their sleeves until- 1981. This is the type- 1, the original design. In- 1970 it was changed a bit (especially a shape of the canopy and the arrow).
