SLOVAKIA Lynx Commando - Special Purpose Police Unit (UAU) sleeve patch

Worn on the right sleeve. Embroidered in full color on black cloth base.
Origin of the unit came from URN – Czechoslovakian special unit and ancestor of current URN unit of Czech police. After split of Czechoslovakia in- 1993 a separate unit was established in Slovakia. New unit has encounter serious actions in very beginning. Unit fully specialized to counter-terrorist actions was established in- 1996. Next year after (1997) was officially announced UOU – Special Purpose Unit (for English speaking countries known as : LYNX Commando ) with base in Bratislava.

- High risk warrant services, etc.
