(Portuguese: Portuguese: Batalhão de Operações Especiais - BOE).

BOE is the elite unit of the Federal District Military Police. Its staff is composed of a selected group of highly trained and disciplined military police officers, for situations of high risk and extreme rigor. It is responsible for the exclusive execution of complex police and public security activities that require a high degree of specialization of its professionals, use and use of techniques, tactics, weapons and special police equipment, among them, the tactical hostage rescue and the actions of detection, isolation and deactivation of explosive devices.
