Anti-Terrorist Unit Luchko (ATJ) is an elite unit of the Special Police, an organisational unit of the Croatian Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic Croatia, specially trained and equipped for:
- fighting organized crime and terrorism on a tactical level
- conducting high-risk arrests in all conditions, especially when suspects are armed or actively resist
- resolving hostage crisis in all conditions, especially inn the case of hijacked airplanes
- providing assistance in carrying out tasks and jobs of preserving publuc order and peace
